The Office of Arts, Culture and Creative Economy’s (OACCE) Culture in Neighborhoods (CIN) provides funding to support a Philadelphia cultural organization or entity who is presenting a free, family-friendly arts activity or event in Philadelphia.

The applicant for CIN funding should be the cultural organization or entity planning the free arts activity or event. The applicant must provide information about the free arts activity or event. Supported cultural organizations and artists must be Philadelphia-based.

Proposals must be submitted at least four (4) weeks in advance of event date. Funding maximum is $2,500. Funding will go directly to the cultural organization or entity presenting the arts activity or event.

OACCE provides Neighborhood Arts Programs through Creative Avenues, Culture in Neighborhoods, and the Call for Creative Talent. Through these initiatives, OACCE supports local artists and arts organizations to present free, family-friendly cultural activities in public spaces throughout Philadelphia’s neighborhoods. These neighborhood arts programs include theatrical and musical performances, film screenings, dance instruction, art making, and much more.
